Systematic Approach to CNC Control Faults CNC control problems can stop production for hours or days if you chase symptoms without a plan. I have developed a systematic approach over 15 years of maintaining deep hole drilling machines with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controls. The approach works across all brands. I always start with the power supply. A control that will not power up usually has a blown fuse or tripped breaker.
